When Jack’s Music Shoppe was born in 1970, it was located around the corner from its current location on Broad Street. It had this back-alley vibe and if you wanted tickets to a popular concert you had to earn it by waiting on line for hours, sometimes overnight or by lottery.
Part of the OurTown Series, Jack's On Broad is a digitally choreographed phonetography image. This print has been captured with full color and clarity on 19ml, watercolor cold press, cotton rag paper. The matte texture of this paper produces a beautifully soft, gallery finish.
