Before the construction of 'The Parkway', the quaint fishing villages along the northern part of the New Jersey shoreline had been accessible by train, making it easier for many to escape the sweltering city summers. The railway has since been converted to a bike path and these small towns have grown to include many resident commuters, but these Bayshore communities continue to be tight-knit while retaining their salt-life vive.
